The single-use plastic directive (EU) 2019/904 regarding the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the enviromental regulates the reduction and the ban of single-use plastic products that have a significant impact on the environment. The directive aims to reduce plastic pollution by banning certain single-use products and holding manufacturers accountable, particulary through requirements for recycling and waste management.
