Regulation 2025/843 of 5 May 2025 adds another substance to Annex I of the POP Regulation. UV-328 (CAS No. 25973-55-1) will be banned on 4 August 2025. The substance is used, for example, in UV protection agents, electrical appliances, protective films, reflective signs and safety glass. In accordance with the annex to the amending regulation, there are some exceptions to this prohibition.
